Spain is launching a digital nomad visa. Finally!
This has been in talks for years but with legislation passed in cabinet last Friday, it seems the digital nomad visa for Spain will become a reality.
Here’s what we know:
- Digital nomads settling in Spain will be able to use a non-resident tax status for up to five years
- Digital nomads from non-EEA countries staying in Spain for under six months won’t need to register
Details are light on the ground right now but you can be sure this article will be updated frequently as I will be taking advantage of the digital nomad visa.
