If you’ve ever been ill on a cruise ship, you’ll know that it is an expensive business. I wasn’t concerned, however, knowing the maximum out of pocket we’d be up for was the $100 excess (deductible). Treatment ran to over 300 euros, which was quickly refunded after we returned to shore and submitted a claim.
